How to get Help

If you're having trouble with your roses or just need some advice about rose culture, there are a variety of sources available to you:
  • The American Rose Society has Consulting Rosarians online who can answer questions.

  • There are many excellent publications about rose culture. These include Ortho's All About Roses, Sunset's Roses, and Ray Reddell's Growing Good Roses. All of these books are great references for novice rosarians.

  • The FAQ from rec.gardens.roses contains comprehensive information about where to purchase roses by mail, facts about modern and "old garden roses," and a lot of other rose-related data.

  • The SCCRS has produced a booklet on how to grow roses specifically in Santa Clara County. Click here for further details.
